Joanne’s Bio: I was born with a song in my mouth that continues Today! I wake up singing and sing throughout my day as well. When I try to sleep I always have an earwig in my head. I’ve been playing guitar since I was 13 years old. I have met many musicians who now play a huge part in my life. I have attended numerous jam sessions, ultimately being invited into the band Fist Full Change for several years. I have continued my musical endeavors with other musicians which became the Bomb Shelter Band. Being in this band with five other extremely talented musicians has been the best experience, creating deep bonds and friendships that we have made with one another. Aside from my family, music brings me the most joy in my life and ignites the flame within me.Picked up the guitar in 2007- Haven’t put it down since. I’ve been blessed to have been mentored by some very fine musicians and friends along the way. Played in many jam sessions like the “Lazy old men”group  and the “Autumn Road“ band .    From 2016 up until Covid played several gigs with the Fistfulla Change band when we were joined by our present lead vocalist Joanne Tornaquindici. The BOMBSHELTER BAND grew out of basement jam sessions and along the way we have become who we are today. My musical interests are cajun and zydeco music, bluegrass, rockabilly, blues, and classic rock along with today’s country music.
Aside from my family, music brings me the most joy in my life and ignites the flame within me……..
